After meeting in Diyarbakır at the designated time, we set off toward Kars amidst winter scenery. As we travel through the unique natural landscapes of Eastern Anatolia, we enjoy a pleasant journey accompanied by our guide’s insights about the region. (Our overnight journey continues.)

We arrive in Kars in the morning. After breakfast, we begin our city tour of Kars.

During our tour:

• Kars Castle

• Fethiye Mosque

• Historic stone buildings notable for their Russian architecture

• Kars Cheese Market

are among the places we will visit.

In the evening, we’ll enjoy a delightful dinner featuring local delicacies and a Caucasian folk dance performance for those who wish to join.

Overnight stay in Kars.

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to the Ani Ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this enchanting ancient city, historically known as the “City of 1,001 Churches,” we’ll explore the cathedral, churches, and city walls.

Following our tour, we’ll proceed to Lake Çıldır, which freezes completely in winter and offers unique scenery.

Here, we will enjoy:

• A walk on the frozen lake

• A horse-drawn sleigh ride

• A tasting of the famous yellow fish

and other delightful experiences.

Return to Kars in the evening and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we head to the Sarıkamış Ski Resort, one of Turkey’s most important ski centers. We’ll take some free time and a photo break amidst the snow-covered pine forests.

After free time, we’ll begin our return journey and arrive in Diyarbakır in the evening.
