Erzincan - Tunceli - Elazığ Tour
We depart for Erzincan Airport with our valued guests on the specified flight. Our plane lands in Erzincan, and we board our vehicle with our waiting guide to begin our tour of Erzincan. Our first stop is Girlevik Waterfall, a natural wonder. After a short break at Girlevik Waterfall, which is approximately 30 meters high and flows in many branches in three levels, we move on to Kemah. In Kemah, which Evliya Çelebi described as "A blessed place, the charming city of Kemah," we visit the Sultan Melik Gazi Tomb, built on the banks of the Karasu River in the name of Ahmet Gazi, the founder of the Mengücek Principality. After our visit to the mausoleum, we will travel to Divriği to see the Divriği Grand Mosque and Hospital, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List not only for its architectural features but also for the rich examples of traditional Anatolian stonework it displays. The Hospital's Crown Gate, the Mosque's North Crown Gate, the Mosque's West Crown Gate, and the Shah Mahfili Crown Gate are each unique architectural and engineering marvels with their distinctive decorations. After receiving information about the gates from our guide, we will proceed to Hüma Hatun Street, where we will take a break. Our final stop in Divriği will be the Mühürdarzade Mansion, which has been opened as the Nuri Demirağ Museum. After visiting the mansion, named after Nuri Demirağ, who constructed 1250 km of Turkey's 10,000 km railway network and was therefore given the surname "Demirağ" (Iron Network) by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we will travel to Kemaliye. We begin our Kemaliye tour with the Stone Road. This road, a testament to the determination put forth by the construction company over 150 years – a project aimed at solving Kemaliye's transportation problems and making life easier – takes us to different worlds. After a photo stop, we'll enjoy our Bebik coffee and embark on a boat trip lasting approximately one hour. (EXTRA) During our boat trip, we can also see the Dark Canyon (approximately 9 km long), one of the world's largest canyons, up close. After the boat tour, we return to our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our tour of Kemaliye. We visit Zincirlikaya, which is chained to prevent it from falling, and the Mani Road, where folk poems written by women from Eğin about separation are displayed. Afterwards, we visit the historical Taşdibi neighborhood and learn about Lög making from Master Salim. We arrive at Apcağa Village, the birthplace of the poet Ahmet Kutsi Tecer and the subject of his poem "There Is a Village There". After our visit to Apcağa Village, which was declared a "protected area" by a decision of the village council in 2005, we taste the warm, long bread made by the master baker in the village market bakery, taking small pieces. After seeing the house of the retired teacher couple Bekir and Nermin Taştan, built like an eagle's nest on top of the rocks (Panoramic), we take a photo break at the bridge named after Recep Yazıcıoğlu, known as the "Super Governor". At the bridge, which is the first project in our country built through State-Nation cooperation with extraordinary effort and dedication under difficult material and natural conditions, and which will provide access to 24 villages, we listen to the story of the bridge from our guide. Afterwards, we move on to Ovacık via Çemişgezek and Hozat. Passing through the Ovacık city center, we reach the Munzur Springs, a natural wonder. After a break here, we'll go to our restaurant by the river for lunch. Those who wish can enjoy the water and nature by the river, then we'll travel along the edge of the Munzur Valley and take a photo break at Halbori Springs and Laş Stream. Afterwards, we'll head to Tunceli city center where our hotel is located.
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll head to Kutu Stream, where the Pülümür River forms a delta. We'll give you free time to enjoy the water here, which is called the Bodrum of the East. After our break, we'll head to Pertek. We'll take the ferry operating on the Keban Dam Lake to Elazığ. During our ferry tour, we'll also see the historically significant Pertek Castle (Panoramic). After disembarking from the ferry, we'll reach Harput, the oldest known settlement in Elazığ province, via Elazığ city center. Here we see Harput Castle, Kurşunlu Mosque, Arap Baba Tomb, Ulu Mosque (built in the 12th century by Artuklu ruler Fahrettin Karaaslan), and Şerif Gül Cultural Center. We depart for Istanbul Airport at the scheduled time.
