GAP - Mesopotamia Boutique Tour

Our journey, starting early in the morning from Van, continues with a passage through Diyarbakır. We take a short break in the city and enjoy panoramic views of the Hevsel Gardens and the historical Grand Mosque. Then we arrive in Mardin and settle into our boutique stone mansions in the Old Mardin region. For dinner, we experience local flavors overlooking the Mesopotamian plain.

In the morning, we visit the Deyrulzafaran Monastery, witnessing the ancient Syriac culture. In the afternoon, we explore the cisterns and rock tombs of the ancient city of Dara, known as the "Ephesus of Mesopotamia." Upon returning to the city center, we examine the architectural genius of the Kasımiye and Zinciriye Madrasahs and spend free time in the narrow streets and "abbaras" of Old Mardin.

Early in the morning, we leave Mardin and head to Şanlıurfa. Our first stop is Göbeklitepe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that changed the course of human history. After seeing the mysterious temples here, we move on to the center of Şanlıurfa. We visit the area around Balıklıgöl and Ayn-ı Zeliha Lake, and in the evening, we complete the day with a local "sıra gecesi" (traditional evening gathering) atmosphere (optional).

We start the day with Urfa's famous breakfast, followed by a short shopping break at the local handicrafts and bazaars. In the afternoon, we begin our return journey to Van and complete our tour in the evening.
