Mardin - Cizre - Hakkari - Van Tour
We depart for Mardin Airport with our valued guests on the specified flight. Our plane lands in Mardin, and we board our vehicle with our waiting guide to begin our Mardin tour. Our tour route, starting in the city center of Mardin, includes a visit to the Deyrulzafaran Monastery, known as the residence of the Syriac Orthodox patriarchs for 640 years; its domes, arched columns, wooden handicrafts, and stone carvings in its interior and exterior spaces attract the attention of visitors. We see the Sin Temple, Cemetery, Church, and Terrace sections. After our monastery visit, we visit the Kasimiye Madrasa, built on the Mesopotamian Plain, whose construction began during the Artukid period and was completed in the late 15th century during the reign of the Akkoyunlu Sultan Kasım Ibn Cihangir, and we take a break for photos. Next, we visit the following in order: "Old Mardin Houses, Sheikh Çabuk Mosque, Old Bazaar, Grand Mosque, Old Post Office Building".

After breakfast, we leave Mardin and head towards Midyat. After a short stroll through the streets famous for their stonework in Midyat, we visit the Mor Gabriel Monastery, one of the most important religious centers of Syriac culture. During our monastery visit, we learn about the region's thousands of years of Syriac heritage.
Following our Midyat tour, we travel towards Cizre via İdil, taking a short break around the Yazidi village and caves that bear traces of the Yazidi faith.
Upon arrival in Cizre, we begin our city tour. First, we visit the Tomb of Mem û Zîn, which inspired one of the most important works of Kurdish literature. Then we visit the Cizre Grand Mosque and the Red Madrasah, dating back to the Artuklu period.
Our program continues with a visit to the Dengbêj House; we get to know the oral culture tradition of the region up close.
Following our visit, we will depart for Şırnak.
Dinner and overnight stay in Şırnak.
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our program. First, we will visit the district of Çukurca with our guide. On the way, we will pass through Işşi Village (Onbudak Village), an old village. Nestled among steep mountains, with its fruit trees and beautiful scenery, this village, which will remain in our memories, was once inhabited by Chaldeans, who formed the Catholic part of the Syriac community. After learning about the Chaldeans, we will visit the "Chel Castle (Shia Castle)," a Tahini Workshop, and historical Armenian stone houses, and give you free time for photos. After the tour, we will travel to Hakkari by vehicle. Dinner will be served at our hotel.

After breakfast, we begin our Hakkari city tour. Our first stop is the Meydan Madrasah, one of the important educational centers of the region, dating from the Ottoman period to the present day. During our visit to the Madrasah, we will learn about Hakkari's intellectual and cultural life.
Then, we leave Hakkari and head towards Yüksekova. During our journey, we visit the Sat Lakes, located at the foot of the Cilo Mountains and known for their natural beauty. We will learn about the region's highland culture and natural life, and take a photo break around the lakes.
After our tour, we will arrive in Yüksekova. Arrival.

Note: As there will be hiking around the Sat Lakes, guests are advised to wear comfortable and suitable walking shoes.
After breakfast, we depart from Yüksekova and head towards Van. Our first stop on the journey is the Saint Bartholomew Church in Başkale district, which is of great importance in terms of Christian history. By visiting this sacred structure, believed to contain the tomb of Saint Bartholomew, we witness the multicultural history of the region.
Then we continue our journey towards Van and visit Hoşap Castle, which has hosted many civilizations since the Urartu period. Built on a rock, the castle is one of the most impressive defensive structures in the region with its architecture and location.

After breakfast, we begin our Van city tour. Our first stop is Van Castle, overlooking Lake Van and featuring ruins from the Urartu period. Here, we learn about Van's thousands of years of history and enjoy the panoramic view.
Then we visit the Van Cat House, where we will get to know our beloved pets, which have become a symbol of Van. During our visit, we learn about Van cats and have the opportunity to shop at the sales area featuring silver jewelry unique to Van.
Continuing our tour, we travel to Akdamar Island, located on Lake Van and one of the most important historical sites in the region. After a boat trip, we visit Akdamar Church; enjoying unforgettable moments with the island and lake views.
Following our tour, transfer to Van Airport.
